THEY TOLD US THEN TO CONTACT THE POLICE. NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. HE'S BEEN SUPPOSEDLY BANNED. I HAVE AN EVENT NUMBER. UM, AND, YOU KNOW, YOU, YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE EASY JUST TO THROW SOMETHING IN THERE, BUT, YOU KNOW, WE WANNA MAKE SURE SOMETHING THAT THAT HAS A, A CHANCE OF, OF PICKING UP THE GRANTS. UM, THE SAFE STREETS. WE DID NOT GET ANYTHING OFF THE SAFE STREETS FROM THE FEDS. YOU DID GET, UH, AS YOU WE TALKED ABOUT PREVIOUSLY, GOT 2.8 MILLION. UM, AND, AND, UH, SO, YOU KNOW, THAT'S, THAT'S SOMETHING. BUT THEN HERE AGAIN, WE'LL GO BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR ON SAFE STREETS AND, AND PUT OUR PROJECTS IN. A LOT OF WHAT WE USE THESE STATE GRANTS FOR IS UPDATING OUR CAMERA SYSTEMS, UM, YOU KNOW, CYBER SECURITY, UH, YOU KNOW, VARIOUS THINGS THAT ARE ALLOWED UNDER THE, THE SECURITY GRANTS. AND WE TYPICALLY GET, YOU KNOW, TOTAL ABOUT A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR ON THESE GRANTS. UM, HERE'S WHAT WE HAVE IN PROCUREMENT. UM, THE HGAC PROJECT WE'VE TALKED ABOUT MANY TIMES. WE COMBINE THE TWO PROJECTS TOGETHER, UM, AND, UH, HAVE ACTUALLY AWARDED THAT. AND I THINK WE'RE WAITING, UH, TO, TO DEVELOP SCOPE WITH THAT FROM THE HOMELAND SECURITY. UM, WE, WE HAVE A, UH, A CONTRACT TODAY ON, ON THE AGENDA TO APPROVE. UM, BUT I THINK BASICALLY WHERE WE ARE IS FOR, YOU KNOW, BASICALLY YOU TO WORK WITH STAS TO SEE IF WE, IF WE CAN GET A SCOPE OF SERVICES, UH, YOU KNOW, FOR THAT $40,000 TO KIND OF TAKE THE DESIGN TO THE NEXT LEVEL AND TO SEE IF WE CAN WORK OUT SOME OF THOSE ISSUES AROUND, YOU KNOW, UM, I THINK SOME OF THE STRUCTURES BETWEEN WILLIAMS PARTY BOAT AND GALVESTON PARTY BOAT, SOME OF THE, THE, UH, TRAFFIC UP AND DOWN THE BOARDWALK, THE, AND AGAIN, A LOT, A LOT OF ISSUES TO WORK OUT THERE, BUT COULD THOSE BE, WE REALLY FELT LIKE WE NEEDED TO GET, YOU KNOW, SOME EXPERTISE IN THERE TO KIND OF WORK WITH THE TENANTS, WORK WITH, WITH THE STAFF TO KIND OF SEE IF WE COULD WORK THOSE OUT. THROUGH HIS FOUNDATION. BUT THERE COULD BE SOME ADDITIONAL MONIES THERE.
